"Sometimes we need one more chance than we deserve." --Barney Dye

Our Goal:

Our aim is to treat all people with the care, compassion and respect
befitting their dignity as human beings.
We are committed to offering you the highest
quality of service
MATR was incorporated in 1993
When a client remains at our treatment
facility for 90 days the success rate increases
to 93%!
MATR is an acronym for

Affect is another term for body language. As professionals we measure your
affect as a means of assessing what needs you have.  "Theoretically Relative"
means that we cannot adequately assess your affect until we get to know you.
The name
MATR is a simple way of stating our recognition that each person is an
individual and not to be treated as a diagnosis.
What We Do:

MATR provides Residential services for those struggling with substance abuse.
We have a comprehensive program tailored to each client's individual needs. We
work to maintain on-going contact with our clients once they have left the
Intensive Residential portion. Though some clients will only remain for 30 days,
our preference is a minimum of 90 days on the Intensive Residential level. Once a
client has successfully completed 90 or 120 days of Intensive Residential
requirements, we then offer a Sober Living status which allows clients to find work
in the community or attend Snow College in nearby Ephraim.
